These are my beliefs about humanity:

We are made the same. We can be the same, yet we are different. We are a collective. We do not have to like each other, we do not have to cater to one another. We have the right to say no. We have the right to refuse to do something that we don’t want to do. We do not have to share. 

We do have to live with one another. We should respect one another. 

We have choices. Choices define us. I don’t care about your beliefs. I don’t care about your sexual preferences. I don’t care your religious or political affiliation.

I don’t even care if you don’t like my beliefs. I’m not asking you to follow them, to adhere to them or even to agree with me. I am just asking that you do the same. 

If you feel the need to tell me your beliefs, go for it. If you feel the need to tell me how wrong I am, go for it. If you feel the need to try and change me? Take a step back. I don’t want you to change. I don’t want you to change me.

Trust me, you can’t. Only I can change me. Just like only you change you. 

These are my beliefs about Fandoms:

I don’t believe in hate across a fandom. Every character, everything has its place, has its time and (unless it is/they are a baby rapist) there is no reason to hate them.

There is no reason to hate anyone who is part of your fandom. It’s rude and disgusting. Our fandoms bring us together, it’s what makes us the same. It’s amazing that someone else can love something as much as you do - and we shouldn’t judge each other for it.

We shouldn’t judge based on ship. Everyone has their OTP, BrOTP, 3TP and/or beyond. It’s so unkind to hate that kind of love. Why do we bring any kind of hate into this? 

I’m not saying we should all agree. That would be dull. I am just saying, that we shouldn’t hate each other.
